Decent Wood Filler

Can anyone recommend some wood filler?
I used Polycell Wood Flex Polyfilla in the squeezy tube, sanded it down etc and painted it in satin. The areas that are filled have a different finish, more matte and it looks really bad.
It would have looked better with the smaller holes left due to this bad finish
I have a load more doors to fill before painting, does anyone have any suggestions
thanks

A 2 part polyester wood filler will be far better.0

Brummer Pick the appropriate one. Probably the yellow label.
I have just filled all the nail gun holes in a 16m x 4m stable block with the exterior grade green label, good stuff but I was almost suicidal by the end of it
Tip if holes are deep roll stuff into a ball and plug the hole then run thumb over it to remove excess, I tried every way possible (scrapers, knives etc) and this was the way that made the job ok.0 -
2 part fillers are simply those which are supplied as 2 separate substances which are mixed to create the filler.
They set by chemical reaction, unlike ready mixed rubbish which only sets when it dries out.0
