Santander log in

Geriatric

Does anybody else experience the fact that when Santander are busy they advise incorrect login? Always seems to be at peak times. I know I enter the login details correctly and I can think of no other reason. I may have to repeat many times on occasion.

Best Bank in the World? There is no such entity and Santander UK are far from featuring as such in any poll.

Can't say I've ever had this problem. Clear you cache memory on your pc.

If you have Trusteer Rapport- that is what is causing it. It affects my Paypal as well. It scrambles the letters for security but does it so the details are wrong for the login attempt!!

If you have Rapport installed disable the key logging feature.

Never a problem with Santander but get that problem with LTSB frequently and after 3 attempts it's locked me out in the past and I've had to phone them, grrr
I get around this problem now by deleting the Ltsb cookies after 2 failed attempts.

Euromoney magazine must have been using different criteria and may not have taken account of login difficulties for mere retail customers!

Same with me. Sometimes it can take three attempts. Always the worry that I might be locked out but if other browsers are ok I'll use Firefox.

I have santander for my business account and i can honestly say they are rubbish in every way i would move my account to some where else but getting a business account with any bank is not easy these days .
