Yes, as long as it is fair and up front.0

Must a website offer an option to pay that they do not charge for? Ticketscript.com force you to pay whether you pay by debit card or credit card and offer no other option0

No. They must, however, only charge a reasonable fee based on their costs. Ticketscript charges 3.5% for Debit Cards, or 4.5% for Credit or Paypal, which is probably just about reasonable, I'd guess.0 -
No, that's not reasonable.
What is the actual cost for using a card?
MSE: "when paying by debit card, the cost to the retailer is 10p to 20p."
"The cost of a credit card charge to a retailer is calculated as a percentage of the value ... no more than 2% of the value of the purchase. So £2 on a £100 transaction."
In Sweden, this surcharge is illegal. And in Norway you can pay by card almost everywhere for everything0
