    OP, I've had success listing on Gumtree. It's free and local. Also more 'relaxed' than Ebay in that the buyer comes round to look and if they like it pay the money. They might offer lower. Either party can agree or say no with no 'negative' feedback

    I've used Gumtree for:
    Lawnmower
    Cots (bought and sold)
    Bikes
    Cooking apples
    Jam jars
    Wine bottles

    aims for 2014 - grow more fruit and veg, declutter
