You could try decanting it into a smaller bottle for use as its a bit on the heavy side really.

I keep hearing you talking about the pump CW, I too cannot find it well maybe they have it but I didn't look properly nor was it on my list.


Also, you are right about robinson's juice it was 1.25l & not 1.5l (I just picked a number from the air thought it was 1.5l )


Actually BP and AH it was you that we have to say THANK YOU. Without both of you nicking elite posts over to here we won't know what to buy & not to buy and in order to do that we have to read most of the carps over there to get the correct info:o. I normally click on the last page of their thread & read from there.


I now have enough of cereals maybe 1 or 2 more shop of nutri grain or "nature valley" (but N/V are not part of 3 for 2 so that might not work) then I will concentrate on other things. Hopefully meat 3 for 2(I wish!!!):rotfl:

Morning all, still trying to catch up.
Freezer contents are insured, so just waiting to see if they pay up now. Have sent in the photos.
BS – well done on your honesty re spud shillings and them letting you keep them. Great news too re your grandchildren and the improvements in their daily lives. Good luck to GD in her photography. What does GS do? Is he still at school or working? Hope he soon gets the headaches sorted.
Flapjack recipe – I always use Delia one excluding the ginger and vary it by adding dried cranberries, apricots, raisins etc and also throw a handful of nuts or seeds in too.
CM – do you not have a smaller Asda nearby that has been converted from Netto? I used one of these stores on Friday no probs.
IS – how is your dad doing?
PM – congrats on giving up smoking. Just think of all the money you are saving and the health benefits. Never mind about the blip with the 2 cigarettes, just start again. How did the wedding go?
Blue – Sounds like my trouting yesterday was the same as yours. 3 staff, 1 staff from cash office, 1 manager and 1 security. They suspended transaction, then said it was fake. I asked them to check but they said they didn’t have facilities, so I said OK I will do it on my phone in front of you. Eventually after almost half an hour they took it. Wouldn’t mind, it was only for £12 ish.

BP – well done on finding shampoo glitch and all the help you have given people, even if some do moan on Elite thread.
Celebrate – well done on finding the hair dye glitch.
AH – would definitely have been able to save some food if freezer had broken down when at home as friend has a huge chest freezer so could have transferred some stuff. Never mind, new freezer being delivered on Tuesday and the company say they ring half an hour before arriving, so I don’t have to take a day off work to wait in.
AH – hope you have had a good weekend with DS3 home.
Genmod – Your hubby could try to give up smoking, but he would have to “want to” himself. My dad smoked for well over 50 years and gave up over 15 years ago. Never looked back apart from the first few days, then an occasional time, he would feel desperate for one, but find something else to occupy him. Always worked for him.
CM – cakes look good. Hope you have a good fund raising day.
CW – glad to hear DH been out, but sorry he hasn’t been out since. Is that by choice? Must be really hard for you worrying about him. Hope he soon gets sorted. Love the bedtime saying!
Huge thank you to those bringing stuff to our attention from Elite thread. That thread just goes too quickly to keep up and seems to have lots of bickering/moans etc. Can’t be doing with that. Everyone on this thread is just so helpful and friendly. Actually feel like family, well maybe not, friends. That old saying, you can choose your family but you can’t choose your friends.

i used 2 heinz coupons in A's yesterday & nothing was said,my family reckon i have lost the plot because i've been getting 1 tin every time i go shopping so have a doz or more in the cupboard ,not got room to stockpile but we've only used 1 tin since the voucher began nobody fancies them on toast or with a chippy type meal ,but a tin went in a chilli the other evening & noone complined so will probably chuck a tin in stews etc now thats the weather is getting cooler

CL - I have been doing same as you and "buying" 1 tin each time I go shopping. I don't eat beans but OH does. Told him he has to have beans on toast once a week for the next 3 or 4 months. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I use the moc beans as my filler:D and we do eat beans . Its a must if we cook walls bacon (yes I only eat walls bacon) there must be napolina toms and baked beans and shiny eggs (I only eat egg white):D:rotfl:

My DS does not like his father's to cook the egg b'cos he always over cooked the egg yolk. My DS and DD1 & DD2 will get me to fry their egg for them they like sunny side up.

OH like cooked fried egg and I like egg sunny side up egg white only.
