Well done to your DSIL - Having a wedding to attend is definitely a big incentive, especially if it's your sons! I hope you can sort out your health issues soon and then maybe after Christmas you will find the willpower to start again. By the way you said you only lost a stone, but that is a lot to lose and you should be proud of that!
No haven't been since May found it hard to pay the £20 a month:(:(:( had a few health probs which haven't helped with eating/nausea etc which hasn't helped and now put everything and more back on.:( DSIL has done fantastic she has lost over 3stone she combines hers with walking & WW and is in Las Vegas for her sons wedding Fri which I am gutted to not be there apparently it is going to be relayed via Skype but think they 8hrs difference :eek::eek:. Our DS is there and he videoing(SP) it, but not the same as being there esp when it the first in the family of Nephews & neices.

:j:j:j well done you for getting to target and 3 stone it is alot of hard work and you definately need to re focus like you say pull it back before christmas. I am a fine one to give advice :D;) but I only lost a stone and I know how much better I felt for it:) just wishing myself back there but hopefully will get these health probs sorted.

Have you thought about credit unions not sure how quick DD would need the car. Even if not for now maybe a thought for the future if you save regular you can borrow money really cheap like 1% really good for people with not alot of money but may need to borrow quickly. These are becoming more popular with the recession. For this instance, time may be against cos you can borrow so many times what you have already saved but still worth looking into for her in the future.

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/credit-unions

reading through the above link it seems to suit smaller loans and interest is mentioned higher. But I remember my mum a couple of years age trying to get my sister to join one connected to the church as she single mum with not alot of money and she told her you could borrow against the savings at 1% but as said there are different types.

    Hi AH
I will tell DD about this for future.

She has just sprung this on me otherwise I would have had more time to sort out.

She took this car out on hire (latest Audi model at the time). The deal was for 2yrs then option to give back or buy. She ljust loves the car and wants to buy IN 10 DAYS.

OMG, weans, jeezo... she says ' i meant to tell you'.

My DD is always in a hurry, always going somewhere... so always skint!!! Only in the past month have I been able to sit down with her and show her ways of saving money and yet she forgot to tell me about this.

My DS is the opposite, very money wise. He's 9 yrs older but always been like this with money so nowt to do with age diff. DD has it spent before she gets it.

Anyhow, it will turn out alright in the end!!!!

    Thanks for info:A:A

No honey they arent contaminated its just sometimes they leak ink on each other then you get messy cartridges and hands :) If you put 1 per bag they don't tend to make so much mess
