Congrats FT!
Managed to get a RSH code, woo!
I've just used 2 up from last freebie today for me and DD2 to watch a private viewing of the Hobbit in Leeds z week on Saturday (freebie of course)
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Glad I don't have to have a loan with interest Jaxxy - I get an interest free car loan at work
.
If it's APR 5.5% it's a pretty good deal - it's just the total interest works out at over 10% of the loan over the term.
The deferred part means you pay more interest overall but it keeps the monthly payments down.
At the end of the term, you can choose how you pay off the deferred part of your loan. There are a number of options:- Keep your car and carry on paying your low monthly repayments until the whole loan is repaid.
- Keep your car and pay off the remainder of your loan with a lump sum.
- Sell your car and use the money to pay off the rest of the loan. Then buy a new car with a new M&S Car Buying Plan
Did you find it here?: linky
Hi jeferey
I phoned M&S today just to discuss more details.
I worked it out as about 11% and cannot/will not allow DD to pay such interest.:eek: I've never paid interest in my life, either played about with cards or saved up first!!;)
The problem is I have just helped my DS with his car, and also paid a large sum to have my garden landscaped, so this has not come at a good time.:o:o
Anyhow, I will work out something cheaper (much) and let you know the end result.
Thanks for the info:A:A

I did not expect all of that!! Loved your turtle sticker
I assume you all know about the RSH tonight? 1 question, I know that they would come in very handy for the next meetso what can I do to do my bit to help? I thought if it is possible to get codes it would help those who are further away IFYKWIM?
Horrible weather here just raining and freezing brrrrr I am sitting with the heating on and my coat and scarf :eek:xx
You need one of the big soft furry housecoats. I bought 2 about 2 years ago for my DD and I...and also buy them in ex large mens, thats what I buy.
There massive and wrap round every bit of the body, especially when sitting. We're only size 10 and 14 so you can imagine how big they are on us.

Have you thought about credit unions not sure how quick DD would need the car. Even if not for now maybe a thought for the future if you save regular you can borrow money really cheap like 1% really good for people with not alot of money but may need to borrow quickly. These are becoming more popular with the recession. For this instance, time may be against cos you can borrow so many times what you have already saved but still worth looking into for her in the future.
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/credit-unions
reading through the above link it seems to suit smaller loans and interest is mentioned higher. But I remember my mum a couple of years age trying to get my sister to join one connected to the church as she single mum with not alot of money and she told her you could borrow against the savings at 1% but as said there are different types.0 -
