Congratulations on your 6 days of giving up smoking. It seems like this married life is agreeing with you, you seem a lot more chilled and happy in yourself;) Did your mum enjoy walking you down the aisle?

how many asdas do you guys have locally then ? we only have 1 i would have to travel an hr each way to get to any other ones which would obv not be worth it. it is quite a big store but i still worry about going in there more than twice a week. OH says its silly they see thousands of people everyday why would they remember me, but i just cant get round the nerves. DTD was a little easier as we have 3/4 to pick from with that but this is just much more scary for some reason.

Have you looked into how many Asda's are in the one hour travel, maybe it would be worth a trip if you can do 2 or 3 different ones. I have only done a few shops, but do travel to different ones and try and do 2 or 3 in that area.

Totally agrre with you CM...I am under so much pressure when I have a bigger apg (may be even £10 to £15). I always get too scared. Also many times they have called supervisor to check my apg by looking at value. Its more embarassing when all are waiting in a queue and staring at us........Its like we are stealing something....:mad::mad::mad::mad::eek::eek::eek::o:o:o

I did a shopping list for today but with all these thoughts in my mind just could not go...

I did 2 seperate shops on the conveyor and used a £20 something and a £14 something no problem. The kid did look at the receipt closely, but luckily I had bought a fair bit of other stuff so not only were they long receipts but the total was quite a lot more than the apg. I think the problem is when you only have 8 items and the apg is only a few quid less than you spent.
The deodrants, coke and the ketchup are still working. I now have another 45 mins to wait for my cleaning stuff one.

Megga Thanks to MT and CW for the help via pm and on here and AH for your help on the phone today:A:A:A:T:T:T

Just wanted to say keep your APGs low as I have been trouted twice this week for APGs around the £12 mark.

I have just come from A's and had a huge trouting :mad::mad::mad::mad:Trout SA wasn't happy at the APG. Called supervisor who then called store manager. I was told it was fake and it was not possible. I told them four times to go and verify it. While manager went to check, SA regaled stories of fake APGs and duplicates.

Manager came back and said to put the transaction through. Trout did not apologise.

I rang head office and put in a complaint about the trout. When I call them I do not give my real name or address or the transaction details so they cannot trace it back to me. They said they would give the trout a trouting (well not those exact words:p)

So sorry to hear you were trouted. I got well trouted last week, which was 2 staff, 2 managers and security. They suspended my transaction, went into the back and checked my receipt and came back and apologised and recalled the transaction. I said to the manager I didn't mind them checking the apg, it's the attitude they have when they are talking to me that I didn't like and especially with that guy, who I pointed to. She said she would have a word with him as to how he spoke to customers, so hopefully it might have done some good. I knew I wouldn't be going to that shop again for a long time so wasn't too bothered, it just wasn't very nice and took a long time.

I cannot understand why they just don't say "sorry I will just have to check this", check it quickly and come back. It doesn't take long for them to input the details and find out they are genuine. I for one wouldn't mind waiting 5 mins if I was treated ok.

Not into APG,as it means shopping in Asda ...comping takes up less time and is more convenient and proves to be quite lucrative for me so having to skip read a lot of posts,( sorry) but want to keep you all into comping...don't forget to keep entering....I've just taken delivery of a very smart cool bag full of Coca Cola in limited edition aluminium bottles, to commemorate the Olympics...few other goodies inside the parcel too, which the grandkids will love.....also got an email from Superdrug won 2 cinema tickets for registering my Superdrug card....grandkids will love those too....sending good luck vibes.
Had a great time yesterday morning , went to see the tour of Britain, which started 5 mins walk from here, went round early and had great place by the start line, granddaughter got super close up shots of Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish as they were riding their bikes slowly to the start line and paused right in front of us.....she's just started a photography course at college and got some super colourful shots whilst practising fast and slow shutter speeds.

Hope you get your fridge insurance sorted SnD, take photos of all the food before you throw it away, the insurance company will pay up a lot quicker if you take photos....

Congrats on your win. I thought your grandaughter was going to do something with cooking which is why she was interested in the GFS? Are the kids progressing how they should after the operation?

Unfortunately there is only 1 other in the whole county so it really would be an expensive trip they just don't seem to have many out this way :(. I have to get oh to come with me at weekend then he can put through a basket too but they really read you receipts in my local never been trouted but still scares me think it's coz I do my normal weekly shop there.

I have been trouted 3 times this week and getting sick of it now :mad::mad:They even called security over - totally ridiculous. I tell them to go and check it and they just keep saying it isnt possible. The worse thing is the way they judge you before they have verified it. I was using large ones the last couple of weeks with no bother and this week I am getting trouted for APGs around £10.

I ring head office each time and tell them the trouts name. So hopefully they will get a ticking off for the way they speak to customers
