Thanks Aesop:A this looks like what I am thinking about but sure I remember thinking had plenty of time to do it :( But they probs offer these all the time for first time users. I thought you applied for the code first but this looks like a std code you just had to use in the time frame. Atleast I now know didn't pay for something I didn't use:rotfl:like I did with Greyhound tickets bought from Groupon :(

Morning all. Boy oh boy have you lot been busy chatting.
Been on holiday for a couple of weeks, then got back to find freezer defrosted whilst away. Judging by the smell, think it must have broken down just after we went away, so been busy trying to sort out new freezer, getting rid of extremely smelly food.
Lots of things arose for mum whilst away so taken over a week of catching up with domestics. Now to catch up with our stuff, but at least I am back on drivel.

Will try and read/skim back a little to see what you all up to later, but hope all is well with my virtual friends and family.

  • Good morning everyone

Jeferey - good shops hun, did you get the tk pump with the ketchup. They charge .50p but its deducted when you pay so ends up free.

Snd - good to see you back, everyone was wondering where you were. Make sure you get up to speed with the elite hun, lots of bargains/glitches at asda atm:rotfl:

I hope you all have a happy glitching day guys.:rotfl::rotfl:

Were you insured hun, as the same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago.

I thought there was something wrong and sure enough my chest freezer had broken. I made a claim and yesterday got a cheque for £160 for the freezer contents, the freezer itself was not insured.

Now just trying to look for another small chest freezer for free or for less than £100. I am sure I have seen them occasionally for £90 and don't want to pay a lot for it.

It feels such a waste throwing all that food in the bin doesn't it.:(

Not into APG,as it means shopping in Asda ...comping takes up less time and is more convenient and proves to be quite lucrative for me so having to skip read a lot of posts,( sorry) but want to keep you all into comping...don't forget to keep entering....I've just taken delivery of a very smart cool bag full of Coca Cola in limited edition aluminium bottles, to commemorate the Olympics...few other goodies inside the parcel too, which the grandkids will love.....also got an email from Superdrug won 2 cinema tickets for registering my Superdrug card....grandkids will love those too....sending good luck vibes.
Had a great time yesterday morning , went to see the tour of Britain, which started 5 mins walk from here, went round early and had great place by the start line, granddaughter got super close up shots of Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish as they were riding their bikes slowly to the start line and paused right in front of us.....she's just started a photography course at college and got some super colourful shots whilst practising fast and slow shutter speeds.

Hope you get your fridge insurance sorted SnD, take photos of all the food before you throw it away, the insurance company will pay up a lot quicker if you take photos....
