    I just thought of a new business. Rent-a-lion.

    I could borrow one of Jax's lions and rent him out to people with unwanted garden visitors.

    Rent by the day or week, must be fed best steak every day. I could provide a strong chain to keep the lion in the garden, and offer a collection and delivery service at no extra charge.

    Useful for getting rid of unwanted cats, husbands, and cold callers (hate cold callers who won't take no for an answer).:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I could then sell the liong poo on ebay too.

    Would make a killing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    CWxx

    Erm...do I get a cut from this money making scheme:p:p

    I always thought this was very posh for 'a kitchen'

    Do you ever find yourself reverting back to 'old words' without thinking and your kids look at you puzzled?
    It's a shame that most of these old sayings/words are lost.

    xx

    Think it is more of the accent with me especially when in a heated family discussion:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I was around 11/12 when we moved down south so quite young but my dad is as broad as the day he left. DH hates when we are up there visiting at the word 'hen' being used frequently:D:rotfl:

    Funny cos I have spent 3/4 of my life here in the south but consider myself scottish and proud of it :j . When it comes to footie my kids love winding me up about it as they of course support England.
