As for the mental health problem, I have tried the CBT but that had no effect and I have asked to see someone from the mental health team, but 6 months later still have not heard anything. Two weeks ago GP said she was going to resend another referral.

I still have to sort out my Esa claim as on assessment rate 34 weeks later and no sign of medical form to fill in. (To be honest I am quiet relieved that they seem to have forgotten about me).

Everybody says try not to worry, but how can I not. Every day you hear about people being turned down and cuts being made.

Hopefully it'll never come to appeal. But if it did it is worth noting you don;t have to attend tribunal.. if someone could represent you that's an option.. but otherwise they could have tribunal with only review of the paper evidence. However.. chances of success are notably increased by representation at tribunal.. and ideally by yourself to give primary evidence.

ESA may be well behind.. but you could prepare yourself by getting hold of ESA50 pdf online and taking a copy to fill in parts if you're up to it... then you'll have less anxiety when it does arrive... and in most cases it will arrive. Make sure you have a copy of the descriptors at hand when filling it in.
