You say sanitary products but could it be tena pads?? Wet wipes could also be used to remove make up so not just baby related. cotton buds are the worst for blocking our system and once a neighbour managed to flush a whole loo roll and tubes of toothpaste down...

When I was at school a friend of mine had a little brother who liked the toilet... He figured out how it worked, you came to dread hearing a flush and 'bye bye!'

Goodness knows what their drain looked like :rotfl:
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o

AFAIK it's not Yorkshire Water's job to investigate or gather proof of the culprit, Environmental Health have powers that YW do not. What do the neighbours that you think are to blame when you ask them about it? Assuming is a dangerous thing.

They don't say much at all, they just brush it off, say oh well it's not happening to us. We've mentioned it a few times about the drains been clogged up but they just change the subject.

Off Topic ... but my young brothers used to put EVERYTHING down the drain. Once the dynorod man came and hauled out a stash of toy cars, cutlery etc. and flushed out the drains, Mum made him a cuppa and they had a bit of a chat, when the plumber went to pick up his rods and tools, yes you guessed they were down the drain:eek::eek:

OP I agree get environmental health.
