If I've used the right Excel formula then I reckon he'd be on approx 7300% annual return by now and would level off at approx 9700% by this time next year. Who wouldn't grab at such an opportunity? (me actually)loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
If the returns are that great, I wonder why our business giants haven't already plowed billions into this small business?0

OP didn't realise he had to pay for gas on another thread - that must be a wind up too, surely?
It's kept me entertained, but for the sake of the OP, I really do hope he is joking and isn't as naive as he seems to be!0 -

Yeah, I read the gas thread, either very gullible . . . or really shouldn't be let out alone:eek:0 -

I rather disagree. If Mr Bloke and his two mates opened up a PDL shop then such return would seem quite reasonable.
At 4,250% interest, there would be a grand a month for our Adam here, and a further £2,500 for Mr Bloke and his two mates to split between themselves.
What can go wrong?Optimists see a glass half full
Pessimists see a glass half empty
Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be

I don't know. A friend of mine has a new housemate who, at the ripe old age of 23, didn't realise that you had to pay for your water :eek:Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Jokes about Wonga aside, surely the person borrowing £1k from the OP would have been better off going to them for the loan in the first place
