Maybe we are all different but if someone owed me a grand or got stiched up I know I wouldn't be getting a small claims court involved.0

Three owners, one shop, none of the owners work in it. What can possibly go wrong?
One of Lifes lessons Adam, if something seems too good to be true... it is.0 -
The only way you are going to get £7,000 from that business, is with a ski mask and a sawn off shotgun.

(Not that I'm advising that course of action mind)0 -
Really? just, well, really?
You expected £1k to turn into £1k a month in a fledgling retail shop? from money that is already being split 3 ways by owners that don't work there?
Really?
You've been had.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
To be successful in small claims court you'd need to form of official contract signed by both parties.
You do have one in place don't you?
If not, I'm with opinions 4u... insane! You'd have to prove the money wasn't a gift, and without any sort of legally binding contact/agreement it will be very difficult.
I suspect you'll have to put this one down to experience, unless you can get him to pay off his own back.0 -
This thread has to be a wind up. No one on planet earth seriously thinks they will get a return of 1200% per annum (actually a lot more than that compunded) on a measly one grand investment.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

There is a saying:
"If something seems too good to be true, it generally is too good to be true".
Have you never heard of that before?
You are either very gullible or a troll."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Whatever action you may attempt to take just remember the old adage "you can't get blood out of a stone"0
