JSA - Stamps?

Hi everybody,
I was let go from my previous job a couple of months ago and have been signing on JSA since. According to my Job Seekers Agreement, I have to contact at least five employers per week - which can be difficult, but I am managing to find pretty much anywhere at the minute. Anyway, that's not the problem.
According to my agreement, this is supposed to be made up of 2 contacts by phone call, 2 contacts by post and 1 through visiting - although my Personal Advisor has told me not to worry too much about this, as long as I hit the five it doesn't really matter how. The problem is I'm in the 18-24 age group and the £56.25 doesn't stretch very far, obviously! Although I do phone some employers, I tend to send CVs on speculation for a lot of the employers to look at, and at 60p/50p per stamp, it's really taking it's toll. The benefit payment I get literally barely stretches to essentials.
Do the Job Centre give stamps to job seekers or any kind of stamped addressed envelope. I thought not, but somebody I was talking to said they'd heard of this. I know that they have phones that are free to use but I'm not sure.
I do send off by E-Mail to a lot of companies, but I always worry with E-Mails that they may be lost or deleted or not even looked at in the same way a CV on paper would. The same goes for phoning up really, it's rare that you get to speak to relevant people anyway in this way.
Anyway, sorry for the long winded post - has anybody ever heard of the job centre giving stamps/envelopes?
I know I might come across as a cheapskate - and I know it's worth it if it means getting a job, but the money does pile up buying books after books of stamps.
Thanks.

https://www.cfhdocmail.com/live/pricelist.aspx may be a moderate saving.
It's a service that posts and prints for less than the cost of a stamp.0
