Natwest Graduate to Select Account -- when?

When will my Natwest Graduate account change to the Select Account? My 0% overdraft facility was reduced to £500 last month, and I read in the T&Cs Natwest will be able to switch accounts in the 3rd year or after January 2013. My 3rd year would be July 2013. Which will come first?
Should I start planning to switch accounts? Have been looking at First Direct for their competitive fees and generous interest free overdraft facility.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
