i have horrible artex on my ceilings - the hoover is the only thing that gets cobwebs (when i can be bothered / notice a mass of them)saving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk

Buy a cheapo broom from £1 shop. Keep it for cobwebs and blinds only as if you use it on the floor it will get greasy and dirty. We get dust trails that hang on the textured wallpaper on the stairs. I can reach them with a broom and it's stiff enough to swish them away. Probably useless as normal broom as it would flick stuff rather than sweeping.0

I tie a damp old sock to the end of a kitchen broom. I tie the sock to the pole by using an elastic band. I find his is the best method of tackling cobwebs.0
