Just venting my spleen folks, but just heard about a so called lone parent claiming WTC/CTC whilst living with a partner. Absolute scum, especially when she's going off to Turkey for two weeks every year. As I have said before, for everyone genuine, this trash is why the system is going to get a lot tighter. Still they may get caught...

They could get caught if you report your suspicions, if you know it's happening and turn a blind eye then you are just as bad.

With that level of possible fraud, they should be able to make it to a tropical island paradise!

if it's on my taxes paid, then a weekend in skegness is too much.

Oh I know, and she will be reported, make no mistake - as I said I was just venting my spleen. Glad someone on here though is of the same mind;)

your spleen would be far better and more profitably vented at individuals and large corporations who fail to pay their due taxes to the extent of billions every year,benefit fraud pales into insignificance when compared to tax theft

Don't get me wrong woodbine, I've no tolerance for the big boys and corporations and I was saying the same to the wife when I started this thread, but when someone you know is ripping you off it's a bit more personal. Maybe that's human nature or part of the problem, but there you are.

Unfortunately 2 wrongs don't make a right. The large tax avoiders and the benefit cheats both cause problems for the majority of others.

Both sides feel self entitled to have it all or as much as they can get away with and stuff the rest of us.
