I have mine set to "no notification" because I prefer to check threads in my User CP.

yep, that's another great option :j:D
& i do use it sometimes, but if i don't want to log into mse
specially if busy doing emails etc then the instant notifications in email are there for me to read without logging in

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.

I went to bed after I last posted up above and now my inbox has 8 emails alone for this thread whereas before I would have only had one :mad:

I will have a look at what Lady Mortica suggests with the one email and see how I get on with that!
