A 'secret' container to hold dinner tickets and change?

Already do that, but it's no good if he comes home on say a Tuesday evening saying that days ticket was missing, as the ticket will already have been used - iyswim, so can't be caught by the canteen staff. I really like the sock idea too.barnaby-bear wrote: »Write his name on the ticket? Might put them off - the sock idea sounds good (won't cling with money noise) - i'd suggest a pair of towelling ones washed in teabags (that look mucky and "crunchy")0 -

can you get a holdall that you can lock with a cheap combination padlock - generally if there's a softer target they'll move onto the unlocked back - cutting one open too much like "stealing"0 -
Also a good idea! I'm obviously thinking of this from the wrong angle. I should be thinking what won't an adolescent/teenager go near and hide them in that - a soap container? :rotfl:barnaby-bear wrote: »no teenagers nick fruit - padded with a sock? http://www.lakeland.co.uk/10380/Banana-Guard?src=gfeed&gclid=COnwoL_al7ICFYcLfAodrCIAgw0 -

My son has one of these - he used it when he went to music festivals, but I'm sure it would do just as well for your son.

It would be some much simpler if he was a girl- just stuff it in the bra
I know I'd have been delighted when I was 13 if my Mum had suggested extra "padding" for my bra.
OP I hope he gets on better this year. If people are stealing it then putting it in different things every few days will help. Little !!!!!!s.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
