Any problems with this - will they still pay out or does it need to be in original settings? Not got any firm in mind in particular.

if you're knowledgeable enough to root your phone, are you not able to unroot it and return it to factory settings ?
you might have some problems if you're running a custom rom on it if the tester of wherever you take it to isn't familiar with it, but if you're running the stock rom, there is, to the best of my knowledge, no actual way of telling it's rooted apart from the 'super user' app being present.
you're honestly better off flashing it back to stock and unrooting it to be on the safe side.0 -
I did see the un root details but it looked even more dauntig with the info on radio frequencies or whatever it is. I think I could do it just looking for the easy/safe way out
