Could anybody tell me if I will be able to make cheap international calls using a prefix number on my Plusnet landline?

Thanks

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    Hi there,

Carrier pre-select services will work fine if you have our phone service - at least they should do, please let us know if they don't as we'll need to get that sorted!

Matt, the OP is not asking about CPS providers but about indirect access providers.

N.B. Only BT allows its subscribers to have a CPS calls provider.

Ah, sorry about that and thanks for the heads up :)

The indirect access prefixes will work fine on our phone service, so yes OP you'll be able to make those calls fine.
