Hello all,
I am about to start on a mammoth painting task. To Save some money I am tempted to use the B & Q coloured emulsion range instead of Dulux which was my first choice.
What I would like from you all to share is your previous experiences with using their coloured emulsion. I would be doing all the painting myself. I would be painting already white-washed newly plastered walls.
All responses are well come both positive and negative.
Thank you.

I bought the 'kings red' b and q emulsion for a wall in the kitchen, it went on well, but needed three coats, the magnolia i bought from there was great, its a really nice cream, not yellowy, and went on really well, all in all i was pleased with both paints and i would buy their range again..0

The pros don't use it, they tend to go for brands like Leyland or Johnstones. I assume this is because they offer the best overall value i.e. good coverage per coat, not too many coats needed, not too expensive per liter.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0

Hated the Leyland paint the 'pros' left behind on a job for me once. Mind, it was a matt finish. In a kitchen.
I've used B&Q's before and liked it, gave good coverage. Definitely would use again (but I tend to make final choice based on colour)0 -
Thanks for the responses. I would certainly give it a try. I was worried it would be too watery.-Keep your eyes to the sunshine and you would not see the shadows-
