I do often, we live a mile or so away from them, They are good, dogs have indoor kennels, with a hatch to an outdoor run, each have own outdoor run, Dogs are not walked here. They feed any popular food, mine has a prescription diet so we provide our own, Never had any issues with them and have used them on/off for 4 years.Dog's bathed every 4th day, they provide bed and blanket.

Feel free to msg me with any q's you have.

Only downside I find is their hours, they close at 17:30pm everyday bar Sundays, Sundays they close 12:30pm.

I think they are £11 a night, might have gone up we used them last in Jan.

Thanks for replying, it was what I was looking for before arranging to go and have a look.

They have a deal with Holiday Inn at Gatwick and will let you have your dog with you overnight and then take them to the kennel for you when your holiday ends, they will them wash them before bringing them back to you (I hate that 'kennel' smell) and then they bring them back to the hotel to meet you there.

While I do not like kennels, we have 2 dogs so they have each other and I want something to fall back on if I need it when we go away.

They are also on the way to MIL so we could leave them on the way and pick them up on the way home which would be convenient.

I don't know if I have any q's, they have their own food so we would take that as the older dog has a medical condition. Thanks for posting.

That sounds dodgy that you don't get to see the premises. Make sure you do anyway before you agree to anything!

Not a kennel fan at all after working in 2, would personally prefer a pet sitter but that's another debate :)

You do get to see the kennel, they have a total open door policy - but it's a 3-4 hour round trip for us to go and see them, if they are bad then I would not bother. I'd never leave my dogs somewhere I could not see and their site clearly says they are happy for you to visit them at any time they are open..

I have 2 rather friendly and bouncy dogs and no dog sitters until recently would look after them because of their breeds and them being strong - or if they are happy to, their houses have been unsuitable (low fences in the garden with squirrels/rabbits running around - 2 SBT's would be off before you blinked etc...) I have recently found a sitter and had no end of problems of the prices doubling after booking them in and us booking after they confirmed they were free. I have found another one but I need somewhere to fall back on for our holiday in 2013.

My sister used to do it for us but as she has recently moved to a new flat with her hubby I don't feel right asking her to house sit now and the dogs cannot go to her.

So, if I need a kennel, I need a kennel, I have to be realistic about things but we have to get the right kennels for us.
