i want to purchase a humidistat extractor fan for my bathroom to replace an existing extractor that doesnt work. i am looking at fans but i am confused as to what to buy because it keeps mentioning ducting and in the case of the link below says it is "compatible with 150mm ducting". As a newbie to extractor fans, how do i know what size ducting will be compatible with the existing ducting or can i buy any extractor fan? When it refers to 150mm ducting, does it mean length wise or width?

150mm ducting refers to the width of the ducting ( approx 6" ) which is right for a kitchen fan.
If it hasnt got ducting at the moment you should fit some when you fit the new fan, google 150mm ducting kit and you will find plenty of them. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
