I got one of these for £199 at tesco in may. So in reality it's more like £50 off. Still a good deal though.

This is a great deal for an Acer netbook. Never seen them this low. Definitely a Grabbit, great Christmas gift for teens.

They are great for surfing the web and doing other basic everyday things but they are not made for complicated program's or advanced functions.

Got OH one of these from Argos ebay outlet earlier this year for £120, it's a nice little netbook, fine for internet/email/office stuff.

Before rushing in to buy one of these I woul dhave a look at the Blackberry Playbooks currently on offer at £109. See other thread in current Grabbits.

Not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but worth considering even if you then decide it might not be for now.

Depends what you're looking for.

I have both an Acer netbook and a Playbook. I have to say that the netbook is mostly just in the drawer unused, while I use the Playbook everyday.

Great product, both daughters have one....no CD drive tho, it's a netbook....recommended

Why does this one say laptop if it's a netbook? Does it have a cd drive?

no, it doesn't have a cd drive. its a netbook.
