Can I (temporarily) suspend a BIN listing?

Just listed an item which is proving popular as a BIN but have to be away from home for a while - probably a couple of weeks.

Can I suspend the listing while away? Don't fancy having to deal with the postage ect through friends!

Or do I do the sensible option, Cancel the listing and relist on return? This option will obviously cost me the listing.

Only a small scale, personal seller on eBay - Any suggestions? :)

have you got more than one item on, if theres time left on the listing, and say you you were going to be away for a week, I would add a note on to day I will be away xx to xx, unfortunatly item will be posted after xx.

Although as you say proberly a couple of weeks I would pull the item, and then relist when your home x

Unfortunately you cannot suspend a BIN and personally I would cancel it and start again when you return- annoying as that might be.

I do wish it was possible to take things off line temporarily like with Amazon as I often go away and it is a real pain calculating my BINs listing time each time.

If you have a shop, you can hide all listings & block purchases when using holiday settings
or just raise the price beyond what anyone would pay, say £999
