How sick can some people be.
I'm on crutches, and took DD out last week with my dad, there was no "shop mobility" around, so I took my time and perservered with crutches, being in pain and discomfort from the start, heading back towards the car, I was struggling to walk, i was literally dragging one foot at a time, and holding crutches for grim death, I heard some girls laughing, then as I went to turn around to get into the car, i then realised that that had been videoing me on their phone and finding it so funny that i couldn't walk properly.
The one girl commented shes getting in the car, i did reply back, (ok wrongly), but did they want a photo as it lasts longer, I was so frustrated..... I think I shocked them, as the one girls face went white as a ghost, and her mouth was catching flies, she was quickly dragged by her partner in crime.
Just so sick, that people find it funny, I ended up in tears, be honest its knocked my confidence for 6, its society today.

Its my guess it was just a couple of kids who know no better. It would seem they have nothing better to do (or film). I cannot imagine there is much they could do with such a clip, nobody would share their humour about it, some might even question why they bothered to film it.
I am guessing should a member of their own family become disabled, it would shock them to the core, no longer would it seem as funny to them and they might think differently if they saw others laughing about it.
Rather than let it get you down, pity them, anyone who finds someone struggling on crutches worthy of filming for fun, must lead a very sad and depraved life.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

instead of using your energy to allow such idiots to upset you.... you should pity them instead!
my eldest grandson had a severly disabled younger brother ( sadly he passed away 2 years ago), a registered blind grandmother (me) and a mixed race cousin.
in my opinion, he is the lucky one.
his life hasnt beem blighted by having us in it, but enhanced.
he is a totally accepting, non judgemental 8 year old who appreciates everything and anything!
so feel sorry for the stupidity of those girls. they may well be ignorant fools for the rest of their lives.
as judge judy says ..... beauty fades but dumb is forever!0 -
I am so sorry this has happened to you.
They are young - lets hope they grow up! I also wonder about the direction todays society is taking.0 -
I went into my daughters school and was having a bad day, I wasn't able to walk properly and had to hold onto my daughter, one of the boys in the school, well known for being nasty pretended to hobble around behind my back...
He got his, he's not very popular in the school, I taught my DD some phrases to embarrass him in the breakfast club..It worked..
I strongly disagree it's society today, I think you get dysfunctional people everywhere and always have done..
You just have to hold your head up and know that it will come back to them...
Next time ask them if they would like you to smile for the camera instead, it takes their 'power' away..I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0 -
Most parents/schools have taught children that this is not acceptable behaviour.
Unfortunately there will always be exceptions.

Wannabe comedians like this twerp don't help...

Wow..... mum2mum I just seen how often you've been thanked in previous posts! Impessive.
Seriously, don't let those stupid children get you down.0 -
I really feel for you but you mustn't let a couple of silly kids get to you. There are millions of decent people in the UK and you can't let 2 people upset you otherwise you are giving them more power than the millions of good people.
These 2 girls were just foolish and you should give them the recognition they deserve by just ignoring them and, as others have said, feeling sorry for them and their families. They don't matter at all. Why do you care what they think?0 -
