I'm in reciept of income-based employment and support allowance, in the work-related group.
When I checked, I found that npower did not class this as part of the 'broader group' that may also be funded.
I diddn't realise that this differed per supplier.
I find now that scottish power do class me as part of the 'broader group'.
As I just switched to scottish power - have I missed the window for obtaining the discount this winter?

 - the answer is no not too late, for a cycle [starting point]
 - WRAG + a gross household of less than £16k
 - bell them on 0800 027 2700, or ask in here for the SP rep to look at your request, a quick way is ask Katie
 - if your stuck I'll find you a personal email addy, its £123.81 pre VAT
BTW the broader group is limited, once their limit is reached, Scottish Power will close the application page so look at their page if its open your in, you won't know unless you try M8!Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I spoke to S Power last week re WHD and the broader group directly the lady said,
"We have plenty of spaces left, if you are transferring in the next 4 to 6 weeks you will be absolutely fine."0

On rereading the page, I find that the date mentioned was only for the elderly, who might be automatically enrolled on the scheme. The date did not apply to the rest.
Annoyingly, because I misread the npower page last year, I missed out.
 Hopefully not this year. :-)0

Just email one of the reps on this board and ask directly Roger, costs nowt and you never know. On the broader criteria its first come first served - if there's money left in the pot it might just come your way - no harm in trying.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
