This is TERRIBLE!
Having suffered six months of purgatory with BG's billing system, I've been looking at the alternatives.
They all seem to be even worse!
If there's one good review on an energy supply company, there will always be 5 or 6 really bad ones following closely along.
I'm beginning to believe my 40+ years of reasonable service now count for more than the past 6 months. And I should keep on paying the bit extra.
As posted several times, they have improved their customer service. Hopefully they can improve their billing system and then they'll be really motoring.

What was the issue?
There are ways to protect yourself again supplier errors so if you post a bit more detail, you may be armed with information that can prevent supplier billing issues, within reason.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
De-merging the accounts after they decided unilaterally to merge gas and electricity.
Rather than Mr Lewis encouraging everyone to switch to save money, he may better serve his devotees by getting the service levels improved.
And why, oh why, do OFGEN still exist?0 -
Merging is normally just how the billing system operates.
Did this cause you problems because you had different data in some way e.g. different bank accounts?:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
