Who can enter:
Prize Draw open to UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 years or over only, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the Prize Draw
Opening/closing date & time:
· Prize Draw opens for entries via PRTS, SMS and online via the www.itv.com, www.stv.tv and www.u.tv websites as stated in The X Factor and the Xtra Factor programmes (the “Programmes”) on Saturday 1 September 2012.
· Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS and SMS at 6pm on Saturday 15 September 2012.
· Prize Draw closes for entries online at 5pm on Thursday 20 September 2012.
Winner selection & contact:
· The draw will take place within 24 hours of the closing date and time for all entries.
· The prize is time critical and the winner will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the draw date in accordance with Clause 4.2 of the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms.
How to enter & cost of entry:
To enter this Prize Draw, simply submit your name and information via:
· Online – go to www.itv.com, www.stv.tv or www.u.tv and follow the instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number provided.
· PRTS Phone - call 09041 61 97 77 and follow the instructions given on the PRTS phone line; up to 6 entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will be invited to stay on the line on their second call to enter the Prize Draw a third time without additional charge. This can be repeated to reach the 6 entries per phone number limit. The entrant’s third entry must be made on the second call from that phone number. Each call costs no more than £1.54 from BT landlines. Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more
· SMS text – send an SMS text with or without the keyword WIN to 88323. The keyword is not required information so SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged; up to 6 entries per phone number. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the Prize Draw via SMS a second time using the same mobile number. Entrants who send a second SMS text using the same mobile number to 88323 by the closing date and time will receive an additional, third entry into the Prize Draw without charge. This process may be repeated to reach the 6 entries limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s chargeable SMS text entries costs £1.50 plus one standard network rate message.

    Holiday
    A ten-night trip for the winner and one companion to Sydney and Queensland, Australia. The prize includes a return flight between London, England (airport to be determined at the Prize Provider's sole discretion) and Sydney, Australia, and a return internal flight between Mackay, Queensland and Sydney. The prize also includes hotel accommodation for three nights at a four-star hotel in the Sydney Harbour area and seven nights at a four-star hotel in Airlie Beach, Queensland, both based on two people sharing a twin or double room (subject to availability) on a bed-and-breakfast basis, return transfers between the airport and the hotel in Sydney and return transfers between Mackay airport and the hotel in Airlie Beach.
    The prize includes two tickets (for the winner and their companion) to attend a Coldplay concert on 17 November 2012 at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney and return transfers between the hotel in Sydney and the Allianz Stadium. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion are available to take the prize on 17 November 2012. Attendance at the Coldplay concert is subject to any venue restrictions and photographic ID may be required. The winner and their companion acknowledge that in the event that Coldplay does not perform on the relevant date, or that the concert does not take place as specified for any reason, the Prize Promoter does not accept responsibility in these circumstances and no alternative prize will be provided to replace this element of the prize.
    In order to attend the Coldplay concert on 17 November 2012, the trip must be booked and taken up between 15 November and 26 November 2012. In the event the winner and their companion choose to take the trip on alternative dates, no alternative for the Coldplay concert element of the prize will be provided.
    The prize also includes a one-day sailing excursion to the Whitsunday Islands, which can be booked and taken up during the winner's stay in Airlie Beach (subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the sailing excursion provider). The excursion includes return transfers between the hotel in Airlie Beach and the excursion start point, morning and afternoon refreshments, lunch on board the boat, snorkeling (subject to weather conditions), and hire of snorkeling equipment. There is no wheelchair access available on the sailing excursion and wheelchair users will be offered an alternative excursion.
    The prize includes standard travel insurance for the winner and their companion for the duration of the trip (subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the Prize Provider's insurance provider). The winner and/or their companion are responsible for any additional costs in obtaining the travel insurance necessary as a result of any pre-existing medical conditions.
    The prize must be booked and taken up by 20 September 2013 but cannot be taken between 19 December 2012 and 3 January 2013, during any UK bank holidays or on any other dates as may be specified by the Prize Provider. The winner must inform the Prize Provider that they want to take up the prize at least 6 weeks before their preferred departure date.

    Either the winner or their companion must be aged 21 or over. If the winner's companion is aged under 18 years, they must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner on the trip.

    The winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotels for security deposit purposes. The winner and their companion must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Australia. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) ensure that they and their companion adhere to the visa entry requirements for Australia; (ii) organize and pay for any visas they and their companion require; and (iii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the Prize Provider. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the Prize Provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion adhere to the local laws in Australia, including but not limited to the legal age limit for buying, drinking and possessing alcoholic beverages which is 18 years or over.
    The prize excludes ground transport to and from the London airport, meals and drinks, treatments, car hire, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations and excursions and attractions (other than those specified above).
