From what I understand here: you have the V5?

What else was meant to come with it in the way of documents?

I would tend to agree that really you have bought as seen and left with all you were going to get.

At the end of the day unless you have a written agreement that he will forward anything else I'm afraid I think you are far too late.

If you could maybe expand a bit then some more/better advice might be available.

The vehicle has had a number of mods (reconditioned engine etc) and the seller was going to provide all the paperwork for that (invoices etc).

It's also had a partial LPG fit out and he was meant to send all the parts for that so I could finish it off.

    Tottaly infuriating I know.

It is not an EBay problem so no pont in going down that route, possibly the same with the police.

If I was in your shoes I would (if possibe/pratical) pay him a visit if/when you are in his area. I assume you have his house phone number and have called him?

last seller I had didn't have two keys for a car I bought nad then months down the line the second arrive in the post, I was really chuffed.

Unfortunately I'm in London and the seller is in Wales. I am now strongly considering Small Claims as I have emails from him promising to send the stuff on.

A complete waste of time. The court will laugh at you.

Apart from the V5 what exactly do you need?!

No offense but you should have sorted everything out before you handed over the cash.
