Esure/Quidco 70% Off Car Insurance - Will It Happen?

Hi all,
First time poster here. I have seen on Quidco that they are offering 70% off here + £25 off. I can't post a direct link as I am a new forum user but you can find it easy via Google.
"Immediate 70% off your premium if you currently have 5 year no claim discount. New customers only"
This sounds a bit too good to be true. Does anyone think that there is a catch to this? I can't work out what it is.

Bottom line is how much you pay0

Well I don't get 70% off for my quote so I assume the offer isn't working. Have tried exactly 5 years no claims and using different browsers but appears to be the same as when I don't visit the site from the Quidco link.0

I'm guessing the 70% is what you get for 5 years NCB plus the normal £25 from quidco.
As others have said, bottom line is all that counts, anything else is just fluff0 -
Is it possible that the money is taken off after I have committed?0
-
Insurnace companies are well known not to pay out for a long time when it comes to cashback. I have one such payment from Churchill 9 months been waiting and I have tried a various others. Dont ever rely on cashback. 70% off is meaningless0

Did my car insurance through John Lewis and Quidco June this year - just had the £56 cashback in my account.
No problems here.0 -

No.
It's just advertising spin.
5 years ncd gives you 70% discount.

Every insurer will do the same.
What they quote is what you pay.0
