Hi guys
I have planned to take the my daughter with siblings and a few friends to splashdown for her 14th birthday. There is ten of us going so I have researched the best prices etc. people have said that you queue like in theme parks for the flumes but totally worth it and recommend paying for all day not 2 hours. And with 1 hour journey each way that makes sence.
My question is what is the best way to do lunch? I see there is a burger king attached but 10 people to feed on top of the entry it may be pricey. Can you get away with bringing in your own lunch(although this is forbidden) or do you really have to get out and dressed to eat?
Thanks.
Joanne.

heya, bf and i visited last week. We did a 2hr session and went in the evening (was open until 9pm) and this was more than enough for us, as there was barely any queues. You wont be able to take food in, and they even charge for spectators (that will be you if you are the accompanying adult and dont fancy getting wet!).
In the complex immediatly outside, theres KFC (so bargain buckets?), chiquitos, nandos, pizza express (pizza hut too i think?) and a huge tesco if you fancied making a picnic (it is literally 300m down the carpark!).
hope this helps a bitChange is inevitable...nothing stays the same forever

Hi, chances are you will have to queue, more so on a wet day, but they go really quite fast, there are lots of rides there, the rapid is usually the busiest, you have to queue to get your ring and then queue to go on the ride, the plug hole is also normally busy but worth it. We usually buy an all day ticket, go in the morning for a couple of hours, get dressed, go and have some lunch, usually go off site, take a picnic to Poole Park about 15 mins away, then go back in the afternoon for another couple of hours!! They will love it!!0
