Local Agent out of business? I wanted to buy one of their properties!

Woke up today and carried out my local Rightmove check. Noticed the total number of properties on the market smaller than usual. A quick check reveals that my local Remax has vanished!
They are no longer on Rightmove, their agent pages are invalid and a neighbouring Remax appears to have moved in to the territory. However, the property I have been following from price cut to price cut has now gone!
I knew I should have moved in for it after the last cut.

Go round and knock on the door?
It is an empty property. I viewed it before when it was for sale by a big building company as a part ex. Sadly, I still had a bit of debt and they went with an investor who could move faster. He has actually did a nice job on it.
I am going to drive by and see if the sign is still outside.Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -
Pop a note through the door, to say you're interested, someone might pick it up but there might be a delay, you're not losing anything! It might also appear on the market with someone else. Get the note through the door asap though as they might reduce if EA's aren't involved. You could mention that you are happy to go through an EA or if they want to save the costs at their end thats fine with you.
Good luck!!0 -

Yeah good idea. Some brief facts...
Home report £75,000
The property was marketed as Offers Over £64,000 before being reduced to Offers Over £59,990 and, just last week, to Offers Over £58,000.
However, I know that the investor paid £50,000.Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -
Check current ownership with the Land Registry?0

Yeah that is an option.
I have a name from Our Property from when the investor purchased the property. I hope that the Re/Max Central Coatbridge and Airdrie properties all reappear on Rightmove with someone else on Monday. The office in Coatbridge looks like it has been cleared out already but the sign is still on the property I have been following.Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -
Have you phoned the office that's 'moved into the territory' to see if they've taken over the inventory from the closed office?0

The Re/Max Cumbernauld dont have the properties on Rightmove. They closed at 1pm today so not had a chance to do anything yet.
Surprised that they did not give any warning on their site that they were closing. They are the number 1 in the town and have the most prominent office too.Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage0 -
