HSBC credit card ppi claim rejected help!

Hello
Can anyone help or give some advice please....
I have been unknowing paying ppi on my HSBC credit card each month I just assumed it was charges for he card. I took out the card in 1997 I have all my original stmts which I sent to HSBC with my claim. I have always said no to insurances as I have savings to cover any illnesses.
HSBC ave ejected my ppi claim due to the below 3 reasons but they also CANNOT locate my Reginald ppi cation form to prove I signed up for it hitch I didn't.
1- as my savings was with another bank it was down to me to prove I had savings to cover any redundancy even though I'm self employed.
2- they state their repayment protection clover was optional and it would have been down to me to sign up for it.
3- the charges appeared on my stmts each month which when I eventually noticed I just assumed was charges fr the card.
I am going to write back as I knw I es ms old as I would never agree to ppi.
Has anyone else had any successes with HSBC credit crd ppi claims?
