If you don't feel confident enough to have a go yourself could you not just clean the old stuff off. That would save one day.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

As the materials to cement render a wall aren't going to run all that high, you're going to be paying the neck end of £300/day for the privilege of getting someone else to do it. Seems a little excessive for a garden wall, but maybe that's just me.
You could probably get a cheaper quote, but if you really don't want to do it yourself or want a professional finish it's going to cost somewhere near that amount.0 -
Seems expensive for what is mostly labour. Get a couple more quotes.Thinking critically since 1996....0

Render by definition is Concrete, sand and cement. its not porous and therefore if damp gets behind it, it blows off. Render it again, and the same patch with blow off again. If you invest in Silicone Lime Render, it will stay longer.
Not sure why you want to take the rest off, unless its already on its way.
What about a fancy finish like Decopierre stone - brick that is breathable and solid. just a thought or Stonefxwalls flat self coloured silicone. (no painting).
Bit dearer, but at least it stays on the wall.
