NEWSPAPER SUMMARY - Saturday 31st March 2007

1971 was a super year then - creme eggs appeared in the shops and in the summer of that year Mum and dad had a surprise when their 2nd daughter arrived (me!)
I remember pacer mints and that space dust that popped in the mouth. I just managed to have a lovely read of the papers (with 4 kids that is an achievement) I took them to the local play centre and as they exhausted themselves I read my papers. I was interested in the Mirror seeds offer.
In Focus they are selling 6 pots of daffs mixed varieties for 99p - not at their best now but will be super next year.
Welshy x
I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

PS ... By the way I bought Mars Bars for 2 'New' p in 1971 ... and they were the size of a loaf of bread as I recall! ....
PPS ... Does anybody remember Mink Cracknels and getting minty splinters in your tongue!
Lol, at the Mars bars!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
And "mink" cracknels... sounds a bit barbaric, were they made from real mink??

Sorry can't be more helpful but still got a headache from the free cider from the Sun yesterday.
This is for a can of the new budweiser. 1 coupon per transaction, think the expiry was 8/4/07 but not certain.
I didn't buy the paper as I had some of this beer last week & it's so week, so no more details.
I'll stick to Kronenburg.0 -
Hello again I am very sorry I got the creme egg date wrong!
I didnt mean to start a new "chat room" BUT it has been fun reading what has been written since my post.
I dont think I am the oldest poster, because somebody said they got married in 1971. I married in 1972 at 19 so there's a hint of my age.
Ps still married 35 years!!:j0 -

Ha ha ... Mint ... I meant MINT .... They had sort of hard splintery green stuff inside ... covered in chocolate ....... easy mistake to mate ...
No animals were killed or covered in chocolate during the making of this post ... :rotfl:LittleBill ... "The riches of a man can be measured by what he can do without"0 -
The Powerade coupon from the Scottish Sun scans without buying the stuff. It's worth 99p.

(Made a great profit on the Sun, as it's 55p, minus 10p voucher off the Sun, minus the 99p Powerade voucher that I ripped out before paying for the paper, plus used a 50 point Telegraph voucher.
