I chicken'd out!!!!:(

I had 6 green tubes in the basket and was standing in the queue with only two check out assistants and I turned back round and left without them. I'm going to ask DP to try a store in Edinbur* and maybe they're self service tills.

I know how you feel - what happens if you get to the front of the queue and it doesn't work? Not sure how comfortable I'd feel saying no thanks and putting them all back again.

Problem solved for me anyway - a large gap on the shelves in my local Boots.

Balletshoes, that's what i'd planned...but I could feel myself doing a Homer Simpson on it and crashing out through the window out of panic. I'll try again tomorrow.

What a bargain! This is my second successful grabbit! I'm still a newbie. I went to a small store and simply asked the assistant to check the price as I wasn't sure how much it was, just in case the offer didn't work! At least then I could of said no. She even commented what a good deal it was!

Worked for me today too at the Boots in Cribbs Causeway, no green ones but plenty of anti-bac white tubes. Lots opposite the SS tills, as if they were expecting people to grab some on the way through! Thanks again for posting.
