Well, I triumphed with this in the end, thanks OP!
In the first store, the snooty trout behind the perfume desk said she would have to do it in two transactions, as the till wouldn't do it. I asked why, and she said, because it's only coming up at only £3 for all of them! :rotfl:
So, I reluctantly just bought 3 for 2.99
I immediately went to a different checkout with more, and bingo! it worked!
On the way home, i popped iin to a different branch, and asked for a refund on the first three. She gave me £6 back, double what it should've been as she couldn't work out what discount came off! So happy now

Thanks OP i managed to grab 6 green ones, was in kings lynn buying OH a new lawnmower as he blew the other one up!!!

Have put the spares in my newly resurfaced boots bargain box!!

Nothing left in my local store! Someone has cleared the shelf! Will try further afield next week if the glitch is still running. hope this one lasts as long as the sun cream glitch. you can never have too much hand cream

Have a look at the main hand cream aisle and also the holiday aisle. My boots had a few on the holiday aisle but loads in the main aisle.

Anyone have any luck with the yellow one?

Could have sworn I saw a tube for £1.70. I didn't dare try to get 6 for £1.70.

just to say i tried the yellow tube £1.70 each and it didnt work just bogof so i left them at the till and bought some white ones instead :j (wasnt enough green ones instock)

Do Boots have self service check outs? I'd cry on the spot if the SA said no, or charged me full price. Have you all bought 6 in one go or 3 in one go?

yes alot of boots stores have self serve tills now

I used ordinary tills and got 6 at a time. First was my local where the girl was lovely and asked me is MSE had told me about it. Then I went to another store and the sa rang up 7 instead of six but she realised it and corrected it. So I got 3 green ones and nine anti bac. And yes larger stores do have self service tills. HTH
