worked in the local chinese.
They had a sign up in the window so i went in and asked they gave me a menu and the test was to memorise the menu and prices.
I went away and learnt the menu, went back within an hour after memorising the menu and they tested me. Got them all correct so got the job.

waitress. i was terrible, the pay was terrible, and the owners were terrible.
it did teach me a lot though - as in, that i needed to get my head down and get some qualifications / skills! every time i've flagged during revision or professional exams or anything, i still have flashbacks to deep cleaning that kitchen on the quiet / off days.0 -

I had the best first job ever, worked in a music shop - Our Price (which was owned by Virgin)
started at age 15 just doing saturdays and then went part time when I was in uni. Stayed there til I was 20 when it shut
(I'm now 30).
It was brilliant. I got paid to listen to music all day
, got 25% discount off everything, my friends thought it was the coolest job ever (It was!) and would come visit me, I'd get tonnes of free promo CD's etc, free gig tickets and every Christmas Richard Branson would give you a brilliant present. One year it was 6 bottles of champers (I was 16 :rotfl:), another year it was Virgin perfume and a personalised signed autobiography and the best one was a free Virgin mobile phone with £50 of credit on it. I was 17 and the first person in my school to get a phone! I think the credit lasted me well over a year!
Ah I miss that job
although I do have an awesome job now as a teacher/youth worker. * Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *
* Slimming World follower (I breastfeed so get 6 hex's!) *
