Perhaps people missed the word "laptop" in my original reply? Getting an external UK keyboard is easy, but if the laptop has a US keyboard (like mine does), and an external keyboard is not practical, then SuperHan has got what I was driving at.

Again thats a simple problem to solve and it's something you can do yourself.
A laptop keyboard can be changed by simply removing a couple of screws and putting in a UK keyboard. I have done that on all laptops purchased abroad.
You will find several clips on Youtube showing you step by step how to do it.I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.0 -

I'm not sure anyone could offer anything beyond Zandoni's first reply. Unless the $ was deliberate ... which the OP needs to advise as this makes a HUGE difference to the situation.0
