Planning Appeal - Help please!

Hi - I'm hoping someone can help me.
I objected to my Neighbour's planning proposal this summer. It got rejected by the council. She has now appealed it, which is her right.
However, having read the grounds for appeal - its a complete pack of lies that makes comments about our house and building work we have had done, claiming that has caused the issue on which the permission was rejected. I can categorically prove beyond all doubt that is not the case.
I have called the planning inspectorate who actually handle the appeals, and they say that I can't comment on the appeal.
Does anyone know if theres anything I can do to get my side across here? Or is it the case that the grounds for appeal will be taken at face value and I cannot comment at all?
Many thanks in advance.

Contact the Council - your information may or may not be relevant to the determination of the appeal but if you speak to the planners they will be able to tell you and they might perhaps use some of it in their case - if it is relevant. There are lots of things that are not relevant planning issues.RICHARD WEBSTER
As a retired conveyancing solicitor I believe the information given in the post to be useful assuming any properties concerned are in England/Wales but I accept no liability for it.0 -

Check with your Planning Office.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Does the appeal go to Committee decison? If so, write to each and every councillor. That's what I did when the Fire Station next door to me had some mad plan to disturb the peace.
