Problem with TR is they are not allowed to sell Ryanair's flights so they are not going to contact Ryanair. Just another reason to avoid the middleman next time and book straight from the airline, especially the one's that knowingly break airline T&C by booking passenger on Ryanair flights.

If you know the details used to book you can apply for a refund here:

    http://schchng.ryanair.com/refweb.asp

If you don't have the details, try to get them from TR. If they won't give them to you my guess is you're out of luck.

Edit: Note, the above assumes that Ryanair charged your card. If your card was charged by TR, the refund will go back to them. I'm unfamiliar with the process so you'll have to check your creditcard statement.
  • so im taking it travel rep dont tell you its ryan air when you book they call it a no frill air carrier, and then when you book they pass your credit card details on to ryan air for them to take the money! surely this is against the law to pass credit card details on to a 3rd party??
  • This is the reason why i wont book flights with TR. I do it directly with the airline. Happy to book accommodation with them though.
Have used them for this with no problems.

You booked your airline tickets with a company not authorised to sell the flights so how is that the airline's fault.
All airlines change flight times, that's they way it is but your 'contract' is with TR, best of luck!

There are some good travel agents and agents who help people on this site for who I have the greatest respect, however many I wouldn't give house room to.
DIY 99% of the time and then you can't blame anyone else.

I'm a newbie so I don't know about travel agents on here but I haven't been to a travel agent in two decades.
All they do is go to the same websites anyone with an ounce of intelligence could find, book the same holiday you could book and then they lash on their commission.
There isn't a single advertised holiday I've ever seen which I couldn't undercut massively myself.
Travel agents are about as useful as a chocolate tea-pot.
  • new story phoned travel republic this morning....1 they are only a search engine.

2 they pass your credit card details on to a third party.
3 they do not communicate with ryan air.

saga continues!! in the process off writing to abta now...what a nightmare......ps be careful when boking a holiday with travel republic more hassle than worth!!!

I posted this in a separate thread but it was deleted! does this Forum own TR and OTB :rotfl:

Stay clear is my advice if asteraix's woes don't put you off!!
