I sold something to somebody (obviously!!) and when I tried to discount their postage on the invoice (they brought 2 things)I couldnt do it so sent invoice and just asked for 40p less in the comments box, however he sent the full amount and sent the comment please sort out refund of postage charges your end. But as I am quite new to ebay (ive only sold about 8 things ) im still trying to get the hang of how it works I have Paypal. But would it be ok for me to just post him the 40p or is that not the done thing? I have money in my paypal account but would need someones advice how to pay it out. Im saving until I get 50.00 at least before drawing out and only using ebay for selling! PLEASE HELP! Thankyou in advance.

If you log into your PayPal account, find one of the transactions and select it. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'refund' you will then be able to enter an amount that you wish to refund.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

I accidentally paid a seller too much for postage. I only realised when he'd included a "40pence off your next purchase from me" voucher in with the item I'd bought!
If I'm the seller, I find one easy way is just to tape a couple of coins to the receipt that you post out with the item you've sold.0 -
I would be tempted to just send out a 50p coin with his itemWeight Loss - 102lb0

Be careful if you send coins that the extra weight doesn't push you into the next postal price bracket.
You don't want to be paying to refund them.
A Paypal refund is the easiest, plus you won't be paying fees on it.0
