ebay searches a bit weird

Do ebay need to check their programming?
I am on a buying spree, saw an item i liked at £5 BIN (including postage) and saw seller had a shop so put in a search for the same item using the search 'lowest price incl p and p first'. Up came the same item for £3.99 plus £1.25 postage- which is more than the £5 item I was already looking for.
did a run through and there on second page was my £5 item, below that of a dearer item even though I was searching by price- very strange

I've noticed this before, tho I don't think with such a difference in the total price. I pretty much always search using the lowest price (price + postage) option and most times the results aren't quite in the order that you would expect them to be.0
