I wanted to say it,is that a problem for you?0

ankspon, ATOS IT Services are sponsoring the Olympics. They are not the same organisation as ATOS Medical Services. Hence, I am not sure what the purpose of your post is?0

Actually the two are linked and their involvement in sponsoring the paralympics has been widely reported. Best article i saw was by Mark Steel for the Independent.0 -
I'm dying to know what it says?:(0

The parent company is the same but IT Services and Medical Services are entirely separate legal entities.0 -

The article again fails to differentiate between the two entities, it is the equivalent of comparing Virgin Media and Virgin Atlantic.
It is a great shame that journalists will not check their facts before publishing such articles. Every valid argument against ATOS Medical Services (and there are many) is massively undermined by people giving out bad information.0 -

In reality what difference does it matter which 'arm' of Atos is sponsoring? Atos medical is the subsidiary of Atos and it was crass of Atos to use their name in any way in relation to the paralympics given how poorly they conduct their work with disabled people.0 -

He seems a bit thick to be honest.
Ignoring the different entities issue - ATOS assess disabled people to see of what they are capable. And are sponsoring an event that celebrates and demonstrates of what disabled people are capable. There's a company called Atos, that you may have heard of, and the achievement it's best known for is to be despised by thousands of the disabled. Graffiti such as "Atos kills" is common on some housing estates, which must be why Atos is one of the main sponsors of the Paralympics. It makes sense, in the way that if you had a gay Olympics, you'd get it sponsored by the Pope, or you'd get an Olympics for people who idolise tall buildings automatically sponsored by al-Qa'ida.
What a desperately dim attempt to suggest the two are incompatible.0
