It is rumoured that easyJet will announce allocated seating on all routes soon before summer 2013 flights go on sale. This is why there are delays to the summer 2013 routes going on sale.

They'll probably be some kind of charging system.

Hopefully they'll stick to the £3 pre-booked, free at check in, it currently is on the routes they are trialing.

I wouldn't bother if travelling by myself, but £3 each if you're travelling as a family/group isn't too bad to guarantee you all sit together, evenso I'd probably not bother to pre-book, I never have with BA.

A step closer to full airline service.

We had pre allocated seats with them in May. We didn't ask for them they were allocated at checkin.

I don't fully understand what is meant here.

easyJet already have allocated seating on some routes so is something different/additional being rumoured?

They already charge for choosing your seat on the the routes I have referred to so is some difference to this policy being rumoured?

Is there a link to the rumour?

I presumed Richard meant they're rolling out on all routes?

    Otherwise, yes, it's old news.
