Order Not Recieved - Past Times

Options
Hi
Any help would be really great!

I ordered some items from Past Time in their sale a few months back.
(A bracelet, a necklace and a brooch). I ordered and paid online (I had a discount code which I used too but all went through fine).

I received a dispatched email 10 days later.
I then received the parcel a week after that. But inside the package was only the bracelet and the brooch, no necklace. Also was the invoice with the three items on the list but the necklace was crossed out in biro.
However, I hadn't been refunded the money for the necklace and they hadn't said whether I would still receive it or whether they were out of stock.

I left it another week to see if it arrived separately but it didn't. So i used their website on the "Contact Us" page and sent them a message saying what had happened and that I was very disappointed.
10 days later there was no response so I went back on their site and found their customer services telephone number (0845) which when I phoned gave me an automated message to use their contact us form online!!! I then found their customer service email address and sent them an even snottier email saying how upset I was at what had happened and that I wanted either my necklace or a refund.

Still no response from them.

What do I do? I was ordering these items for my friends 30th Birthday which has now passed. I really upset with them but how do I complain if they won't acknowledge me?

:(

  • There was talk early this year of Past Times going into administration. Our local shop closed down soon after but I've no idea if the company was "saved" and is still trading somewhere.

I suggest you google them to check their status. If they are in administration you will have to apply to become a creditor.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
