Seeing that the other one will have received a substantial sum from their half share of the property, I would think that they would have quite a wide range of options.0 -
The council paying the care home fees can't make the other sister sell. They can put a legal charge on the property and if the sister in care should pass away, they will charge interest on the 'loan' until it is repaid.
My neice is in a similar situation.0
